What should I do if the one-time passcode (OTP) is not working when I try to log into my bank, and how does this affect my transaction data refresh?

If the OTP is not working, it’s likely due to your bank’s multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings. Plaid cannot support MFA settings that require an OTP for each login, as it prevents automatic transaction data updates. To resolve this, we recommend updating your MFA settings through your bank’s platform to use a different MFA method that does not require an OTP every time you log in from a recognized device. If you need help, please reach out to your bank’s customer support for assistance in changing your MFA settings.
