Why is Bank Connect a separate subscription on TimelyBills ?

We understand this is a common and valid question from our users. Initially, the Bank Connect feature was included in the Pro subscription plan. However, we realized that the costs associated with this feature are tied to our data aggregator partners, such as MX and Plaid, whose pricing structures can vary and are beyond our direct control. 

 

To avoid increasing the overall price of the Pro subscription for all users, we decided to offer Bank Connect as a separate add-on. This allows users to have more flexibility—they can start or stop the Bank Sync subscription as needed, without impacting the affordability of the Pro or Pro Family subscriptions. This approach ensures that users who do not need Bank Connect are not paying for it, while those who do have the option to activate it independently.
