On Android 12 Samsung will prevent apps work in background by default unless you exclude apps from battery optimizations. This is a severe divergence from standard Android process management policies. To keep your apps working properly make sure you enable:
- Settings > Apps > TimelyBills > Turn off Remove permissions if app is unused.
- Settings > Apps > TimelyBills > Battery > Unrestricted.
- Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > More Battery settings > Turn off Adaptive battery.
- Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > More Battery settings > Turn off Protect battery.
- Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits> Turn off Put unused apps to sleep.
- Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > More Battery settings > Turn off Protect battery.
- Settings > Battery and device care > (⁝) menu > Automation > Turn off Auto optimise daily.
- Settings > Battery and device care > (⁝) menu > Automation > Turn off Auto restart at set times.
- Settings > Battery and device care > (⁝) menu > Automation > Turn off Adaptive power saving.
