If not needed, TimelyBills allows complete removal of your bank connection. Once removed, none of its accounts will remain connected with the bank from TimelyBills.
This method deletes the entire bank connection from the app, including all associated accounts and transactions. Though one can reconnect the bank/financial institute in the future if needed.
Steps to remove/delete bank connection:
1. Navigate to the Dashboard.
2. Go to the account section.
3. Click on "Connected institutions" at the top of the account page.
4. Select the connected bank.
5. Click on the delete icon at the top right corner and following 2 options will be provided:
- "Delete financial institute”: Through this option, all the bank accounts with respect to this bank connection will be deleted along with all their transactions.
- “Convert all accounts to manual”: Through this option, all the accounts, associated with this respective bank connection, will be converted into offline account and will be available on account list, retaining existing transaction information on your device, but with no connection with bank/financial institute.
